Today I got to go on a little drive and play with lift off Oversteer on some dirt roads. WOAH man I love it. Holding a slide through a smooth corner feels amazing. My Civic has never seemed so fun.

My beater 2001 Corolla has lift off oversteer. It's good fun.

It becomes so tempting to do EVERYWHERE. My Focus ST is seriously more tail happy than most RWD cars I've owned.

i've found that on dirt my car loves to go sideways. Go in the corner at about 40 let off the gas and just left foot brake a tad and she'll come around just right. it's a great feeling. and thing of beauty really. Hand breaks are just unnecessary.

I wish there were some dirt roads near me. Especially as I've now got a RWD car I can hoon around with :)

LOL, I totally agree! I probably look like a jerk sliding around every corner on my commute. And it's SO much fun in the snow and gravel. It never gets old!

NO there really isn't any in my area. But I have an old Honda Civic and a track around a field. It's a blast. I spun out yesterday though.

You are not doing it right then, in a RWD.

it is pretty much the perfect size and power for the track since it's really just a four wheeler trail.

Considering they were all either underpowered, SUV's, or both, it's not so unreasonable. My Ford Ranger sure was tail happy, and my 318ti could be coaxed to hang its tail out a bit, but that's about it. This is my first FWD car, and my second non 4x4 utility vehicle of some sort.
